Precision Tone Shaping
The GE-7’s intuitive graphic equalization circuit makes it easy to adjust your sound in the moment, whether reducing rumble, adding low-end warmth, boosting midrange to cut through the mix, or bringing sparkle to the highs. The first six bands (100 Hz to 3.2 kHz) feature peaking filters for precise control at specific frequencies, while the 6.4 kHz slider employs a shelving filter for smooth treble adjustments.
From Subtle to Striking
With a ±15 dB range of adjustment per frequency band, the GE-7 provides all the scope you need to carve out your unique voice, from gentle enhancements to radically altered tones. The level slider also provides a ±15 dB range, allowing you to balance the overall volume with the bypassed signal and use the pedal as a clean boost.
Endless Sonic Possibilities
The versatile GE-7 excels in many applications. Use it to enhance and balance the sound of your guitar pickups. Place it before overdrive and distortion pedals to dramatically reshape their voices, affecting both the tonal curve and the drive characteristics of different frequency ranges. Or use it as a compact preamp for an acoustic/electric guitar, sweetening the tone and reducing frequencies that can trigger feedback on stage.
